About me

Fine artist, calligrapher and cook– Originally a native of Maryland, my BFA is from Tyler School of Art of Temple University(Philadelphia) in Graphic Design. This blog is inspired by my junior year in High School, when I found it difficult to choose art or culinary school, equally drawn to both. Im looking to fine other artists/chefs out there, who get equally excited about new exhibits and recipes. Also- living in an urban environment, I support urban farming– although I have no land/lot to plant, the thought of growing your own food is wonderfully exciting and makes so much sense! You know where it came from and it didnt require a trip to the store to get.

My fine art is primarily  mixed media, oil paintings, colored pencil illustrations, and calligraphy. My work is both abstract and realist, and can be seen on http://www.creativeshake.com/raquelstallworth and purchased on Fine Art America (SEE link on the right sidebar  of this page under “Blogroll” to view: RAQUEL STALLWORTH’S ART PRINTS FOR SALE  ON FINE ART AMERICA)
